For motivated college grads, JobTutors brings the real world into the classroom before you step out into it.
Why Graduates Need JobTutors
In college you knew what was expected of you. Go to class, do your work, finish a project, get a grade and move on. Yes, you had control of studying and completing the work, but most of the time the grades, and your professors, held the power. The grades were your final judgment and proof of success.
In life after college, you are judged by a boss and coworkers but the real power belongs to you. Your competition in college was clear: the GPA. In the real world, your competition is other college grads, job cuts, tough bosses, office politics, your own self-doubt or whatever gets thrown in your path along the way.
Your best line of defense? Insider training that takes others years to master.
JobTutors believes that you shouldn’t be expected to know how to enter the job market without training. Shifting gears from college life into your first taste of independence can be exciting and daunting all at once. We help you transition into the workforce with proven methods that will help you become a desirable employee. Along the way you will learn career-building skills that will last a lifetime.
How it Works
Like all training, JobTutors is half instruction and half putting the instruction into play. Together, we will work hard to develop a focused plan that you can implement.
After a discussion to get to know you and your goals, JobTutors will develop a plan of action. Clients receive practical guidance at each session and specific steps to take to develop interviewing and networking skills, advance the job search progress and improve the chances of becoming the winning candidate.
