JobTutors will be speaking at Simsbury Library on 12/1/09 from 6:30-8:30. The program is geared to parents of college seniors or recent college graduates. It will provide a framework for what you and your child will be facing as they  transition into the workforce. The program will cover important statistics,  fears and frustrations, tips on helping your child and understanding the proper way to conduct a job search in this market.

JobTutors will be speaking to the Finance Assocaition Business Club at CCSU on November 11 from 5-6:30.

JobTutors will be speaking at Simsbury Library on February 2, 2010 at a time to be determined at a future date. This program is geared towards recent college graduates or those due to graduate in May 2010. Steve Harvey and Susan Carlow have over 30 years of executive search experience and understand the practical applications of a job search from both the employers perspective as well as the candidate. The program will focus on transition from college into the work force, the effects of possibly moving home, how to survive the move home, solid tips for an effective job search and pitfalls to avoid during your search.

We will discuss issues from  grads moving home (at a 75% rate), effects on parents and students, how to best help them transition from school, and tips on how to conduct their first job search.
