JobTutors will be joining Mary on her Saturday radio program to discuss how to handle specific job seeker situations. Mary’s “believe in yourself” theme will be a major component.
We are looking forward to presenting to two CCSU classes and joining the students for an informal lunch afterwards.
Mary Jones, from the WDRC, The Mary Jones Show is the MC. Debbie Allen Wright owner of Project Closet, and frequent guest on Better CT is providing a professional dress presentation, Chef David deMercado owner Dinner as You Please will discus proper etiquette and JobTutors is providing job search tips. The event is sponsored by Dan Siracusa, Siracusa Moving and is offered to CCSU Senior business majors.
JobTutors will be participating in QU’s Career Week with the contents of the presentation being tailored to meet the needs of the students.

This class is for the parents of recent or soon to be college graduates, and will focus on the relevant issues you may face. The class will cover important statistics, fears and frustrations, tips on helping your child and understanding the proper way to conduct a job search in this market.
The program is geared to parents of college seniors or recent college graduates. It will provide a framework for what you and your child will be facing as they transition into the workforce. The JobTutors program will focus on transition from college into the work force. Our executive search, real life experience will provide solid tips for an effective job search and pitfalls to avoid. There will be an opportunity to ask questions specific to your search.
JobTutors will be speaking at Simsbury Library on February 2, 2010 at a time to be determined at a future date. This program is geared towards recent college graduates or those due to graduate in May 2010. Steve Harvey and Susan Carlow have over 30 years of executive search experience and understand the practical applications of a job search from both the employers perspective as well as the candidate. The program will focus on transition from college into the work force, the effects of possibly moving home, how to survive the move home, solid tips for an effective job search and pitfalls to avoid during your search.
